The cluster (GST) admission circular for the session 2024-2025 has been released officially. This year, a total of 19 public universities (General, Science and Technology) across the country will participate in the cluster (GST) admission test for the session 2024-25. Last year, the number was 24 for the session 2023-24.
General, Science and Technology, in short GST is the Cluster Admission System in Bangladesh. In 2021, the first admission test was held for 20 universities. After three years, four more universities joined in this system for the session 2023-24.
This year, a total of five universities opted out from the Cluster Admission System. The universities are: Jagannath University, University of Chittagong, Comilla University, Jahangirnagar University, and Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University. The universities will conduct the test individually.
Meanwhile, the GST Admission Circular 2025 was released on February 26, 2025. According to the circular, the admission test for the session 2024-25 will be held for 19 universities. The online application process will begin on Wednesday (March 5) at 12:00 PM. Interested candidates can submit the application till March 15, 2025, 11:59 PM.
The university admission test will be held under the cluster system, focusing on three subjects: Humanities, Commerce, and Science. The Question Paper will be made based on the HSC Syllabus.
This year, the test will be taken at 20 centers across the country. Candidates can choose only one center from the list, which will be considered as final. There will be no chance to change the test center after the online application ends.

- Barishal University, Barishal
- Rangamati Science and Technology University, Rangamati
- Rabindra University, Bangladesh, Sirajganj
- Gazipur Digital University, Gazipur
- Netrokona University, Netrokona
- Jamalpur Science and Technology University, Jamalpur
- Kishoreganj University, Kishoreganj
- Chandpur Science and Technology University, Chandpur
