Finally, the wait for Dental Result 2025 is over! The admission result will be published soon, most probably today, Sunday (March 2). The Directorate General of Health Education (DGHE) will hold a meeting today at 2 PM to decide when to publish the 2024-25 dental admission test results. If officials agree, the results may be announced later in the day.
“The meeting will start at noon to discuss the results of the 2024-25 academic year’s dental admission test. If a decision is made, the results will be published today,” Professor Dr. Rubina Yasmin, Additional Director General (Medical Education) of DGHE, told Snap NewsX.
Dental Result 2025 for Admission Test
This year dental admission test took place on Friday, February 28, from 10 AM to 11 AM. A total of 68,684 students applied for the exam, to secure a seat in government and private dental colleges.
There are only 545 seats available in government dental colleges and medical colleges. So, 126 students are competing for each seat.
Seat Distribution
The 545 seats in government dental colleges are divided into different categories. The majority of the seats are allotted to general applicants, but there are also reserved seats for specific groups.
Below is the detailed seat distribution:
- 513 seats for general students
- 27 seats for freedom fighter quota
- 5 seats for tribal quota
When and Where to Check the Results
Once the DGHE meeting concludes, officials are expected to finalize the result published date. If the decision is made today, the BDS Result 2025 will be made live online shortly after the announcement. Candidates will need to visit the official DGHE website and enter their required details to view their results. It is recommended that students keep their admit card or roll number on hand while checking the merit status.
Since thousands of students will be accessing the website at the same time, there might be temporary server issues. In such cases, students should wait a few minutes and try again. Additionally, DGHE may release Dental Result 2025 in PDF list of successful candidates.
