Chittagong University Admission 2025
This year, the University of Chittagong is conducting the admission test separately. The decision was made after leaving the GST Admission System. As a result, the university released the admission circular for the session 2024-25. The authority invited the candidates who have passed in the HSC and Equivalent Exam in 2023 and 2024.
According to the circular, the application process was started on January 1. The online application ended after 15 days on January 15, 2025. A total of 2,71,239 candidates from all over the country have applied for various units including A, B, C, and D Unit. However, a total of 2,54,669 admission aspirants have applied last year for the session 2023-24.
CU A Unit Question Solution 2025
As per the report, a total of 1,09,081 candidates have applied for A Unit (Science, Biology, Engineering, and Marine Sciences and Fisheries). Candidates can know detailed information in the following table;

CU A Unit MCQ Answer for All Set
The authority announced that, the A Unit Admission test will be taken on March 1, 2025. Candidates who have participated in the admission test, will be looking for the MCQ Answer for CU A Unit. If you are also one of them, there is no need to worry.

Marks Distribution
The CU admission test will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)-based for all units and sub-units. Each exam will have a total of 100 marks. Some subjects may also require a practical exam, which is mandatory if applicable.
Negative Marking System
CU follows a negative marking system, In most units, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- For most units: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
For ‘C’ Unit (Business Studies):
- For 1-mark questions: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- For 2-mark questions: 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
This means students should be careful when answering questions, especially in the ‘C’ Unit.
Admission Result Date
This year, CU A Unit Result 2025 will be published within or after one week of the admission test. However, the evaluation process will take more time depending on the number of candidates. As I said, 1,09,081 candidates have applied for A Unit, the result will be available within March 10, 2025.
Once the result is published, candidates can check the merit list, total marks on the official website. The merit status will be displayed on the screen after entering the Application ID or Roll Number.
