The Chittagong University (CU) conducted the B Unit (Faculty of Arts and Humanities) Admission test on March 8, 2025. Thousands of candidates are now eagerly waiting for CU B Unit Result 2025 for the session 2024-25. The result is expected to be published today or a few days later. CU B Unit Admission Test 2024-25
This year, Chittagong University conducted the admission test on their own rules. The online application for the session 2024-25 was started on January 1 and ended after 14 days on January 15, 2025. As per the circular, only those students who have passed in the SSC Exam in 2021, 2022, and HSC Exam in 2023, 2024 are eligible to submit the application.
According to the admission committee source, a total of 2,71,239 candidates have applied for CU Admission. Among them, 73,171 candidates applied for B Unit where 896 seats are available. About 82 admission aspirants appeared on the test for each seat, the source said to Snap NewsX.
CU B Unit Result 2025
Generally, Chittagong University published the admission result within or after 7 days of the test. Recently, A Unit Result was published on March 6 where the test was conducted on March 1, 2025. However, the evaluation process take more time based on number of candidates.
As per the report, a total of 1,09,081 candidates applied for A Unit. Among them, 92 per cent participated in the test taken on March 1, 2025. However, 73,171 candidates applied for B Unit, which is 35910 less than A Unit.
Meanwhile, the A unit result was published after 5 days of the test. The B Unit, Faculty of Arts and Humanities admission test was taken on March 8. So, it is assumed that CU B Unit Result will be published on March 13 or a few days later. Once published, candidates can check their merit list on the ICT Cell website (ictcell.cu.ac.bd) of the University.
Know how to check CU B Unit Result with Total Score
- First of all, candidates will need to enter on the ICT Cell website at ictcell.cu.ac.bd.
- On the homepage, find out the “Admission Test Result” menu and click there.
- It will send you to a new page.
- Click on the academic year 2024-25.
- On the page, click on “See PDF” beside the “B” Unit.
- The result page will be displayed on the screen.
- Type the roll number in the search box and hit enter button.
- The roll number will be highlighted if the candidate selected.
Note that candidates will get merit status including merit position and total mark on the ICT Cell of Chittagong University. Those who will be selected, need to wait for the announcement of the final admission process.
