National University, Bangladesh (NU) will publish the Degree 2nd Year Result 2025 for BA, BSS, and BSc Courses soon. The results for the exam year 2022 will be available this month, February 2025. Once published, candidates can check their GPA with Marksheet by entering their Registration Number on the official website. In addition, the GPA can be seen via Mobile SMS.
Update on February 23, 2025, at 03:43 PM: National University has published the result of the Degree 2nd Year Pass and Certificate Course. Candidates can now check GPA and Marksheet on the official website.
Update on February 21, 2025, at 01:16 AM: I found something important for the students who appeared on the exam. The NU Latest Published Result Portal (http://result.nu.ac.bd/) of the National University shows the “Bachelor Degree (Pass) 2nd Year Result” menu by default under the “Examination Name” section.
Degree 2nd Year Exam 2024
Every year, more than 2 lakh students from all over the country participate in the Degree 2nd Year Exam. Only those students who completed the form fill-up process within the deadline, are eligible to participate in the competitive exam.
The authority of the National University announced the exam date and time on June 25, 2024. Later, the exam was postponed till October. The revised routine was published on September 28 to conduct the exam on October 20, 2024. Luckily, the exam was completed after changing the routine two more times. Now, candidates will be waiting for the exam results.

Degree 2nd Year Result Published Date
National University publishes the board exam results within or after 90 days of the exam. Since 2016, when I started studying at Dinajpur Govt College and covering Education News, the university has followed this rule. Provably, they are following this pattern earlier than 2016.
According to the routine, the Degree 2nd Year Exam for various courses including BA, BSS, and BSc was started on October 20 and continued till November 20, 2024. So, it has been reached 90 days. The Degree 2nd Year Result has been published on February 23, 2025.
How to Check Degree Result Online
Once the result is published, students can access their results by entering their registration number and exam year on the result portal. The published results include detailed information such as subject-wise grades and overall CGPA.

Alternative Method: Mobile SMS
The National University may slow or down after publishing the exam result. Every time I experienced various issues including “Site not responding” or “The Site can’t be reached”. This can be happend due to huge request within a few seconds. Then, you can check the result via Mobile SMS.
- Open the messaging app on your mobile device.
- Type the following message: NU DEG Registration Number (e.g., NU DEG 1234567890).
- Send the SMS: Send the message to 16222.
This SMS method is a quick alternative if the official website is down or experiencing heavy traffic on the result day. You will receive a reply SMS within one minute containing your result details, including subject-wise grades and CGPA.
