The fourth day of the undergraduate first-year admission tests of Jahangirnagar University (JU) for the 2024-25 academic year has started today, Wednesday (February 12, 2025). The Admission test for A Unit, Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences take place in the morning at 9 AM for the male candidates.
As per the report, a total of 46,833 male candidates have applied on A Unit against 213 seats. So, 220 students are participating the admission test for the session 2024-25.
The admission test for female candidates in the same unit was conducted on Tuesday (February 11). A total of 26,328 female students applied for this unit, highlighting the high demand for seats in the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences.
On February 11, the university also held the admission test for the ‘E’ unit, which covers the Faculty of Business Studies. In this unit, 15,181 students applied for 200 seats. The attendance rate in this exam was recorded at 87%.
Prior to this, the admission tests for the ‘D’ unit (Faculty of Biological Sciences) and the Institute of Business Administration (IBA-JU) took place on February 9 and 10. The attendance rate for the ‘D’ unit exam was 85.33%, while the IBA-JU test saw an attendance of approximately 72%.
