JU Admission Test for session 2024-25 completed with C1 Unit

Jahangirnagar University (JU) has completed its admission test for first-year undergraduate students for the 2024-25 session. On the last day, exams were held for the ‘C-1’ unit (Drama and Fine Arts) and the ‘B’ unit (Social Sciences).

The tests started on Monday (February 17) at 9:00 AM with the first shift for the ‘C-1’ unit. The day had four shifts: The second and third shifts were for female candidates in the ‘B’ unit. The fourth shift was for male candidates. After completed the test today, JU successfully ended its admission test process for the session 2024-2025.

This year, competition was high, with an average of 75 students applied for each seat in the ‘C-1’ and ‘B’ units. As per the report, a total of 5,504 candidates applied on ‘C-1’ Unit (Drama & Fine Arts) for 64 seats. So, 86 students participated in the test for each seat.

In addition, 23,769 students applied on ‘B’ Unit (Social Sciences) for 326 seats, with 73 students per seat. Among the ‘B’ unit applicants, 10,858 were male, and 12,919 were female, making it a diverse competition.

Meanwhile, the admission result for various units including D, E, A and Institute of Business Administration (IBA-JU) was published after two or three days of the test. Candidates who appeared on the admission test, are advised to check the merit list at ju-admission.org by entering Application ID or Roll Number.
