The admission committee of Shahjalal University has officially confirmed the date on March 5, 2025. A notice in this regard can be found on the admission portal.
Shahjalal University Admission Test 2024-25
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Admission (SUST) was one of the 24 universities in Cluster Admission System in Bangladesh. This year, the university has left the previous system and released the admission circular separately for the session 2024-25.
According to the circular, the application was started on January 5, 2025. Interested candidates who have minimum GPA in SSC and HSC Exams, invited to complete the online application process within January 15, 2025. A total of 86,380 candidates applied for 1,671 seats till the last date.

SUST Result Published Date
The SUST Result 2025 for A and B Unit will be published on March 9, 2025. The published date has officially confirmed by admission commettee of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. The merit list of the selected candidates can be checked on the official website at admission.sust.edu.bd.
The authority also said that, candidates who have been selected, will get their result via Mobile SMS. They will sent the merit status on the mobile number that was used during application time.

Unit Wise Merit List
There are two distinct groups for the exam: A Unit for programs in Engineering, Architecture, and Science for Science Unit and B Unit for students from science, humanities, and commerce backgrounds.
Once the results are published, the official website will feature a dedicated page with clear instructions and a user-friendly layout. Students will be able to log in using their credentials to view their detailed scorecards. This will include detailed marks from both the MCQ test and GPA scores.
A Unit Result
The A Unit Result focuses on candidates applying for Engineering, Architecture, and Science programs. This result is evaluate with the MCQ test and the GPA scores from SSC and HSC. For students in the A Unit, the score in the MCQ test carries 80 marks, while the academic history adds another 20 marks.
B Unit Result
The SUST B Unit Result 2025 will be available on the official website. Candidates can simply check the merit status by entering Roll Number. They can see total marks, merit position and more within one minute.
For students in the B Unit, the evaluation is also based on the combination of an 80-mark MCQ test and a 20-mark GPA component. The detailed marks are provided to give a complete picture of how well candidates have done in their respective subjects.
Mark Distribution
The test consists of two parts. The first part is an MCQ section that is worth 80 marks, which evaluates the candidate’s analytical skills and subject knowledge. The second part comprises SSC and HSC GPA scores, adding up to 20 marks. This combined score of 100 marks is used to rank candidates.
